Terms of service
Last updated 25 July 2026
This page describes how Bleeper actually works, written and checked against the software itself. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. If you need contractual certainty before adopting Bleeper, ask us — we would rather answer the question than have you rely on wording we drafted ourselves.
What Bleeper is
Bleeper is incident management that runs in Slack: it opens a channel per incident, keeps a timeline, drafts a postmortem when you resolve, and chases the follow-ups until they’re closed. By creating an organization you agree to these terms.
Bleeper does not detect incidents and does not page anyone. It is not a monitoring tool and not an on-call system. If nobody notices a problem, Bleeper will not notice it either. Please don’t rely on it as the thing that wakes someone up.
Your account
You’re responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite into your organization. Organization owners and admins can connect Slack, connect issue trackers, change plan settings, export the workspace and delete the organization — so choose who holds those roles deliberately.
You must have the right to connect the Slack workspace and any issue tracker you connect, and to store the content your team puts into incidents.
Plans and payment
The Free plan is genuinely usable and has no time limit. Pro is one flat price per workspace, with unlimited responders, billed in advance and renewing automatically until cancelled. You choose monthly or yearly billing at checkout; a yearly subscription is charged for the whole year up front and renews annually. The current prices are shown on the pricing section of the home page and in Settings → Billing before you pay.
Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as merchant of record and whose terms also apply to the transaction. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. If a payment fails we retry rather than cutting you off immediately.
We may change the price, and if we do we will tell existing subscribers before it applies to them.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Bleeper to break the law, to store content you have no right to store, or to attack the service or the people using it. We may suspend an organization that does, or one with an unresolved payment dispute.
Availability
Bleeper is offered as-is, without an uptime guarantee or a service-level agreement. It runs on Cloudflare’s network and depends on Slack; when Slack is down, the parts of Bleeper that live in Slack are down with it. We aim for the service to be dependable and we would rather you told us when it isn’t.
Your data
Your incident content is yours. We store and process it to run the service, as described in the privacy policy. You can export it at any time from Settings → General, and deleting your organization deletes it on the schedule set out there.
Ending it
You can stop using Bleeper whenever you like: cancel the subscription in the billing portal, or delete the organization outright. We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and where it’s reasonable to do so we’ll give you notice and a chance to export first.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Bleeper isn’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Some jurisdictions give consumers rights that override this section; those rights stand.
Changes
If these terms change materially we will say so in the product rather than quietly editing this page. The date at the top is always the date of the current version.
